DuoDERM Signal - Design Features:
- Dressing mass contains hydrocolloids
- Thin, low-friction backing helps reduce shearing that can lead to premature dislodging of the dressing
- Provides a waterproof barrier to protect the wound and the dressing
- Tapered edge easily contours to difficult areas like heels, buttocks, sacrum, elbows, and trochanters
- Translucent backing promotes initial wound monitoring and dressing placement
- Polymers enhance the exudate absorbing capacity of the DuoDERM dressing by forming a cohesive gel
- Outer film and hydrocolloid matrix allow moisture vapor to pass through
- Used as a primary dressing for low-to-moderately exuding wounds
- Can also be used as a secondary dressing to securely hold Aquacel or Aquacel Ag Dressing in place

When to use DuoDERM Signal Dressing?
DuoDERM Signal hydrocolloid wound dressing may be used as a primary dressing or as a secondary dressing for the treatment of the following:
- Lightly to moderately exuding wounds
- Minor scalds and burns
- Minor abrasions
- Minor cuts
- Lacerations
